Clover is a very special cat who is extremely sweet and loving and is afraid of nothing!  He is also one of our special needs kitties because he experienced a very unusual and tramatic injury as a kitten.  He was snatched by an osprey and dropped from mid-air when he was about 3 months old and he cannot walk on his back legs now.  He is able to move his back legs, but just cannot support weight on them (with good footing he can stand and take a few steps).  Nevertheless, as a true testment to the stength of the animal spirit, Clover is a very happy cat!!  He refuses a wheelchair (trust me, we tried, he HATES it), and prefers to get around just as he is.  His attitude shows no signs of his disability and he is sweet, loving, tough as nails, mischievous, playful, and just an awesome cat!! His owner would just need to be  experienced with caring for a special needs baby, and must be comfortable with expressing his bladder at least twice a day, preferably three times.  Big Hearts personnel will teach you all you need to know.  It is actually suprisingly easy to get the hang of special needs care!  It is also extremely rewarding to have a cat like this in your life!!  Clover would say, "I don't sweat the small stuff and just get on with living my life in the most awesome way possible!" He teaches the rest of us how to live!!  He is a dominant cat and is not afraid of anything.  He gets along great with dogs. His adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, up to date on vaccines, disease testing, and free of fleas and parasites.  If you are interested in adopting Clover please contact us at 352-567-9736 or bhrescue@gmail.com
